The United Boaters of Elmwood Township is a non-profit community-based organization whose primary objective is to represent Elmwood Harbor Basin boaters. Along the way, we have fun, establish strong bonds and work to improve our community. UBET Membership is open to all recreational boaters of the Elmwood Harbor Basin  who support the mission of the United Boaters of Elmwood Township.

 

Mission: The United Boaters of Elmwood Township is a boater advocacy organization dedicated to:

  • Promoting boating safety, customer service, and marina improvements.

  • Providing a forum for the open exchange of ideas and issues affecting the boating community.

  • Fostering boater camaraderie and social activities.

Goals:

  • Work closely with the Elmwood Township Board, The Elmwood Boating Community, and the Harbormaster in a positive and productive way.

  • Provide boaters with important and fun information regarding marina matters through UBET's website and UBET's periodic newsletter.

  • Promote a sense of community at the marina and support efforts to make transients and ramp users feel welcome and included.

  • Support and participate in local community events.

  • Foster friendship and camaraderie among boaters by sponsoring occasional social functions.

  • Do whatever we can to help transform the Elmwood Harbor into a first-class and customer-friendly operation.
